Metropolitan Avenue Subway Station, Brooklyn by soboy5

Metropolitan Avenue Subway Station, Brooklyn

I was in New York City with my son, teaching him how to photograph the city. We were on our way to Greenpoint one evening when we had to change trains in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. As we stood on the platform, I watched the people on the opposite side carefully and once they were perfectly framed by the steel girders, I took this image. It was selected for flickr Explore. This is the first image I have shown here that was made with my new Fuji camera.
Great candid. Even when you looked for some time at this image, there are new things that you discover.

This is a stunning 'street' image - your treatment and the lighting lend it an air of mystery.
