I'm a South African working in Afghanistan on an agricultural program sponsored by the USDA.

I'm definitely NOT a pro or even semi-pro photographer, but I love capturing and sharing the everyday scenes I encounter.

Most of my photographs are shot from the backseat of a moving vehicle - the situation in Afghanistan, as well as the people's attitude towards being photographed, does not contribute to well planned masterpieces.

This is just a hobby - one I'm fairly new to - but I really enjoy getting out and capturing the everyday scenes around me.

One other thing you'll notice is that my photos are often "over-optimized". I just love the vivid colors and the extreme difference from the original!
