The Eye of the Beholder

It shouldn't surprise you one bit that that one of my favorite TV shows is The Twilight Zone. Quirky? Weird? Clever? Yup, suits me to a T. I've loved it since I was a kid and my brothers and I would huddle around the television for the annual New Year's marathon. I can watch the same episodes over and over again with the same glee and amazement at the creativity that went into each story.

What a relief that this theme came along and I was finally able to do a self-portrait without having to spend hours Photoshopping my face. Here you can see the real me. I'm sure you'll all agree that I'm quite beautiful.
My fiance loves loves LOVES the twilight zone, so I've seen a great deal of the episodes through him. Wonderful theme shot!!

Thanks! I'm especially glad to be ferreting out the closet Twilight Zone fans out there.

@laceyjogautreau :) I'm sure that can be arranged. I doubt my husband would mind much as long as I still come over and cook for him and do his laundry.

@maggotx It was much easier than I expected it to be, actually. Just some Photoshop magic. I found a picture of one of the characters and cut and pasted sections of her face over a photo of me. I did some smudging and stretching to make the pig-like features fit but I really didn't have to do much of that. I'm a little concerned now that I realize just how similar my face must already be to those Twilight Zone characters. The background and nurse's hat were also Photoshopped in.
