Thrupenny Bit by spanishliz

Thrupenny Bit

This was my Mum's favourite from amongst her small (kept in a matchbox) collection of old British coins. I have the matchbox, and the coins, now. This thrupenny (threepenny) bit is smaller than a dime and has Queen Victoria on the obverse. Took me multiple tries using two cameras to get this, and even then I had to crop!
Wow, didn't know thrupennies came without the bevelled edge!!
