Officially, this late February promotion of downtown Belleville is called Savour the Chill, but it was so mild today that "chill" wasn't the right word. At least twice as many people as usual turned out and the lines were long. Many of the participating restaurants ran out of soup ($2 a sample) long before the official end time of 3 p.m. It's great to see so many people downtown.
@4rky The lines were so long I only had one bowl of soup, but I shopped in a couple of other places, and hope some of the others in the crowd did as well.
