Prise

Inspired by Arno Rafael Minkkinen. Another thought for the lines theme I am doing.
Great textures, and lines of course, but to me it gets a fav for the "feel" of the image...if that makes any sense at all

@scarybird Not at all. I really like what you have done. He is hard to channel. Thanks for your comments on this shot.

@spanner thanks for your great comments. I did suggest to the wife we try some of the naked shots but she was having none of it. Your contrast is so much better than mine what do you use? Will see if I can do some more by the end of the week

This shot feels like someone is trapped inside the tree... trying to get it to open up. Wonderful effect. I agree with Alice... it has a panicked look and is a bit scary to view. Well done.

I think this is very artistic.... I want to yell "HANG ON!"

@scarybird I am waiting on those nudie shots! My wife has turned me down flat. No sense of adventure.....

Normally the crop right at the wrists would bug me, but here it totally works with the tension. It's like you're trying to tear the wood apart. Such curious suggestions here... Awesome.

Gripping!

@louuncouth Thanks Lou - This is a telegraph pole which determined the crop - any wider and the frame would not have been filled. We tried a tree but her arms were not long enough and we couldn't get the tension. I am glad you like it. Inspired by your wonderful suggestion. Thank you.
