Last week my friend and I had a bit of a disagreement over something pretty trivial and it got a little out of hand. It's partly why I've been a but down in the dumps...so we got together tonight to have a meal and sort things out. I suggested that as today was "F" we should do the shoot together for "friendship" as a way of burying the hatchet! We had a great laugh - took the tripod to a field and and basically messed about - got some great shots of us laughing together ("what do you mean I have to hold your hand...? LOL"). We both liked this one so it's the one that's getting posted! Nothing much else to report for the day - worked from home, started my fitness regime and swam a mile...
...and swam a mile..Ha you make me laugh.

iv given up on friends they let you down and dont talk to you for no reason..my best friend when i was in my 20s friends for 12 years i asked her to my bros wedding she had started seeing this guy and said he was working she wouldnt come without him..i said but i wont know anyone pleeeez that was it she never spoke to me again..guess he was in control...then i invited my friend in november to the bafta with me for a short film id done make up on..i asked her 2 months in advance..yes she was coming blah blah..then the evening came im dressed had been trying toget in touch all day with her..nothing then i got thru shes off somewhere else said she will ring me back ..i waited she didnt ring..i missed my train and couldnt go she hasnt spoke to me since...no reason what so ever so i give up on friends il have aquaintences and thats it..friends suck as they say lol grrr she will prob ring me now out of blue....she can put her bottom lip over her head and swollow
@shenay woah - that's too bad. My friends are really important to me - I know you can't always control the outcomes and it's tough when partners come into the picture, but whilst they may come and go (and i've only had a few that have gone forever), they are the people that help shape you one way or another. I could never regret or forget!
@sparkle iv given up on friends i know ppl but there not friend friends the last friend was all about her she took all my ideas and would use them she used me i wouldnt talk to her now if she begged me...story of my life ppl only hang around to get what they can then move on..in my experience
lovely message Juliette, is goes right into my heart... Even if it's not for me. I met the guy who would be my husband on June 15th 1991 (yeap no mistake I checked!) to a wedding of one of my best friend named Juliette! unfortunatly we don't see anymore but you're right friendship is important!

Love this! Yes, friendships are precious and we should feel blessed when we have them. My good friend and I met when we were in 2nd grade, when I moved into her neighborhood. We were in each other's weddings within 2 months of each other, and now, 50 years after we met, we still are fast friends, even though we don't live in the same state. We are going to vacation with them this summer, and your picture inspires me to come up with a creative way to capture the essence of our relationship in a photo while we're together.
My friends are so important to me, there are five of us mainly, we call ourselves 'the fab five ' & go away together & we just laugh & be silly together !!! At our ages too !!!! I know they would always be there for me! Lovely photo & so glad disagreement over !!
Great message and photo. I have one friend that I have known forever. Even though we are miles apart and not in contact for months we are still friends. Close friends are to be treasured. They are gifts from God.
It's a lovely shot and I am so happy you resolved the problem and remain friends. I love the friends God has put in my life - my childhood friends I've known for over 50 years.
Great idea for 'F'.....I have close friends I can count on one hand...the sort of friendships that when you havent spoken for months, you can pick up the phone and take up where you left off. Glad you & your friend made up. :)

@looseimages my oldest friends live in Singapore, Dubai and USA!! That's why the one's I have in the UK are so important to me! love that being able to pick up where you left off - it's a good feeling!
