Been feeling dreadful all day due to my 5am start and not enough sleep! Had loads of meetings but luckily didn't have to go to my 6pm meeting so came home. Stopped off at my mate's half way home to have a quick snooze and a bite to eat. bags packed and ready to go to Venray in Holland tomorrow. Early start again :o(
Thwaite Mills is a fully restored working water-powered mill located in tranquil surroundings justoutside of Leeds. The mill is one of the last remaining examples of a water-powered mill in Britain. Starting its life as a fulling mill, it later became a wood, oil, and corn-grinding mill. More recently it was a stone-crushing mill, and now after extensive restoration, the mill has re-opened as a working museum of over 300 years of industry.
I bet it's never looked so beautiful. Get some zeds on the plane - Nigel's a regular on the 7am Stansted-Amsterdam flight - just being woken up by him leaving for it does me in!!
...great image. Not heard of this place.
Q. How many shots do you take for something like this - auto-bracket x3 or just a load at different exposures?
@sleepdozer57 cheers Peter. I normally take 3 brackets, zero and plus/minus a third. On the odd occasion I take 5 but only if there isn't much contrast in the initial scene. You ought to HDR your brusie when it colours up!!LOL - hope you're recovering!
