Headed into London today with a pal to join in the last of the Jubilee celebrations. It was great to be amongst the crowds, a great atmosphere. We got there pretty late but managed to get a spot next to the roadside near Trafalgar Square and I got a spot on shot of the queen as she drove past http://365project.org/sparkle/around-the-worl/2012-06-05! Loved the scene just up the road from us where people had started to climb on top of telephone boxes to get a better view! http://365project.org/sparkle/alternative-365/2012-06-05
After we'd wandered around for lunch we were lucky enough to get a great spot near Admiralty Arch and watch the fly-by - the rain had started and I was lucky no to get too much rain on my lens - loved the red arrows' perfect formation
Great composition, and even greater capture.... Like the colors of the plane vapor trail....these must be similar to our Blue Angels...very nicely done
Wow!! Great capture - The weather might have even gone in your favour for this shot actually. I've been watching the Jubilee Celebrations each night on the Australian News...would love to be in the UK right now. Thanks for sharing this great photo!!
Amazing sight even on TV, a great moment!
Lovely to be able to actually be there in the crowds on such a special occasion!
