A busy day, got through a pile of stuff at work, few conference calls which I managed to finish quickly and headed out of work at 3.30pm to meet Rosa and gang along the Southbank for a few beers. Wandered about for a while and headed up towards St.Paul's to make our way home to watch the Olympics opening ceremony. Really great atmosphere everywhere, just loving it! Didn't have a huge amount of time for shots today - took this coming out of Blackfriars...an enormous hanging from the Jubilee celebrations over Sea Containers House
i love seeing this. i bet everything there is all the buzz over the olympics! such a wonderful time......will you be able to attend any of the events? i'm watching cycling right now:)
@paulaag yes, it's very exciting. I've got hockey and basketball tickets...and might try and watch as much on tv and get out for some of the free events too!
Are my eyes playing tricks? The photo looks like it's processed in sepia, but the building to the right looks reddish, and the royal family looks b&w. I thought sc for the building, but couldn't figure out the b&w! I wondering: 1. How did you do this?
2. Do I need to make an appt. with my eye doctor? Glad you're enjoying all the festivities around town - Who are you seeing play basketball?
@sparkleplenty1 ha ha, no you don't need an eye doctor! The huge hanging is indeed B&W and the building is red brick type. The day was very grey so when I cross processed this is changed the blue/greyness of the sky slightly sepia - the Thames was a little brown today too!! Got quarter finals for BB so depends on who gets through!!

Loved the opening ceromony last night!
