Had a busy day. Managed to sleep through my alarm and was fortunately woken by a phone call that meant I still just about got to work on time without missing any meetings! Worked until early afternoon and shot home to get myself ready for my evening of basketball (women's semi finals) at the Greenwich Arena. Decided that as we had bags of time to take the new Emirates Air Line cable car across the Thames. It was great fun. Had a nice Wagamama's for tea and then into the arena for the match. It was between Russia and France - France were by far the superior team and the level of play was a little disappointing for a semi, however the over zealous Russian supporter sat behind us made up for lack of shooting ability by his team by shouting (probable) expletives in Russian every time they missed!! He had an English friend with him and by his complaints in English to him, I think he may well become Russia's new coach...he had so much advice to give!! Final score 72-63!

Stunning shot Juliette. I must put the cable car on my to do list. Then again, the London Eye has been on my list for too many years for me to remember.
@judithg at a cost of £60million I blinking hope so!! It was great - only takes 5 minutes but gives a great view over East London. Could see the Olympic Stadium too!
@judithg to be honest when the games is over, the O2 is a great place to go and mooch and take photos inside and out - we could always do that when we meet up in London in a few weeks?
@sparkle Yeah - good idea! Adam took himself to London today (no camera -idiot-but he keeps going on about photogenic places. I was really jealous of him just taking himself off - I have to worry about the dog and getting people's teas!!
