The Rill by sparkle

The Rill

So much for an easy day...my half day at client transpired to nearly 3/4 of a day which has messed up my schedule for another piece of work and undue stress is abound! Grrr. Knowing that I wouldn't have time to start anything fresh I took the Blue Discovery trail to carry on capturing the Olympic mascot figures around town. It was a really nice walk even without mascot spotting - I had the wrong lens for the other offerings but worth another stroll on another day.
This shot taken at More London Place of the Rill, a simple cut through the paving, running over 260m. The design intent was for the feature to appear almost as if a fissure had opened within the Limestone, revealing a natural watercourse beneath the paving. London Bridge can just be seen in the background and the Olympic rings reflected in the building on the right.

Great POV - looks like the men are walking straight at you! Love the effect of the "fissure" - doesn't it make walking a bit hazardous?

I love you perspective and how cool to get a glimpse of the London Bridge and being able to see the Olympic rings in the window.
