Had a marathon sleep last night - a full 12 hours! Yesterday's run must've taken it out of me...thankfully didn't have any aches and pains this morning. Spent an hour on Skype to Rosa in Singapore me eating brunch as she was tucking into a MacDonalds dinner!! It's been a miserable day outside and couldn't be bothered to go out so spent most of it editing photos from the wedding shoot last month for submission to a wedding magazine and trying to finish my photo book from Patagonia. Noticed when I was putting the rubbish out earlier how my garden is actually in full bloom, even though everything should be dying off now! Got these vivid yellows and oranges and bright purples and reds from my fushia bushes...a little colour to brighten up the day!
I love Crocosmia and this is a beaut of a shot. I have to say my garden is NOT in full bloom but I did get out in the sunshine (sorry) and plant a load of bulbs and something that smells of garlic, has nice variegated strappy leaves and pretty allium style flowers. I've split the root balls so I've either got lots of plants or none!!!
@fueast spot on! I'll try and wrap things up early!! It looks like the train journey from Reading to Paddington is only half an hour so I shouldn't be too late
@sparkle i downloaded blulr last year but then got confused because it started talking about 'selling your book on-line' and giving it an ISBN type no. ....and then photobox had a 2 for 1 offer !
