Another great day...maybe a tougher one on the guys I was with rather than on me...but feedback was very positive - think everyone has had a good couple of days...and they want me to go back to inflict more pain on them in a few weeks!! So a happy JP headed for a very grey and dreary Dublin airport tonight to be met with a delayed flight which instead of annoying me made me laugh. Most amusing part of the wait was when a gate change was announced for the flight and all the silly people who have been stood in a queue for a plane that isn't even there yet were thrown into disarray; they might as well have announed "first person to gate 104 wins a million quid" people were running and pushing and shoving to get to the front of another queue that wasn't due to move for at least another hour! Got home and turned straight around when I got in and met up with Tom, an old colleague of mine I've not seen for a couple of years for a beer. Nice to catch up, but knackered now! Not the greatest shot - I've run out of time and inspiration at Dublin airport at the moment! This sums up the weather there today though!
@mittens no, not driving...stood on the pavement next to the other terinal building!! All safe except an approaching security guard to chase me away from taking photos!!
@sparkle After I posted my comment I did notice the arrows were pointing towards you so I then figured you probably weren't driving in a car. I'm glad all was safe. LOL about the security guard. They are usually not cooperative.
nice edit it sums up the tedium of waiting at airports nicely, and I have never understood the brit mentality of being first in the queue its not like the plane will leave without you if you passenger 200 is it lol
