Not even the widest angle lens could capture the smile that's been on my face all day. Had the most wicked time...hundreds upon hundreds of photos taken...a nightmare tonight trying to choose what to load up! Went across to Banburgh Castle and walked up the coast a bit to Harkess Rocks Lighthouse and then all the way back down the beach to Seahouses and back to Banburgh again. A walk of 9ish miles all along the beautiful white sand beach as the tide was coming in. The weather was gorgeous despite the weather forecast, very mild and although a lot of clouds around we got some blue skies in the morning. Captured this as the light was dying its last - so thankful I had my gorillapod with me!
Happy Birthday to my Dad...70 today! xxx

Sounds like a truly fab day, your walk, views and the sands. This is a beautiful shot. The lights shining on the sea, lovely lines and ripples. Beautiful blues.
@sparkle you have certainly sparkled here, just amazed at your talent with the camera. Knowing this area quite well it is one of my best faves ever Than you Juliette!!! Put this in one of those gift shops & it would sell big time!!!
Totally perfect. This will be no 1 in the top 20 never doubt it. I think I've done that walk - did a whole lot of the Northumbrian coast a few years back.
Another gorgeous shot. And a gorilla pod will hold your 60. Isn't that a good sized camera? Perhaps I need to invest in a gorilla pod. Anyway, beautiful shot. Fav.
Hi Juliette.....I'm still lurking in the background :-) I look in at the photos everyday to keep me inspired! This is just stunning!! so I had to comment. Have wonderful memories of a holiday in Northumberland. Bet you could sell this to a local shop! My first fave for a long time!! :-)
Congratulations!
