An even worse travel day than yesterday! Left Kemble about 7:30am and got to the train station at Swindon to find every train to Cardiff cancelled. Was advised to catch a diverted train to Bristol and change onto a local one from there. Said train was delayed but we eventually got to Bristol where the next train was also delayed because it had broken down! Eventually a single carriage train turned up to take more than a carriage worth of passengers to Cardiff! Finally turned up for my training session nearly 4 hours later for what should have been an hour and a half journey! Great day from then on, learnt lots of new stuff. Took us an hour to drive back to the hotel (5 miles away) because of a horrible traffic jam. Not surprisingly, haven't had a lot of time to take any shots other than of train stations the last couple of days, and I suspect looking at the disruptions the floods are causing, it could be the same tomorrow going home!
Nice pops of colour. Blimey, can't believe this travel chaos - guy who lives in Cardiff and commutes into London (as you do!) took 7 hours to get home yesterday.
Great shot Juliette. Sorry to hear of your travel woes. You sound as if you approached it with stoicism. You seem to have so many travle problems, I think you should publish your itinery so he rest of us know where not to go :))
