Had a top notch day, work was pretty non-descript but the whole team was in so we chewed the fat a little and enjoyed a bit of banter. I introduced my colleagues to the Wenlock walking maps around London, they started off thinking I was mad, but by the end of the day were busily printing maps off deciding on where to go! I left them mid discussions as I had on the cards tonight the pink and red routes to do. I thought I'd be done by 7-7:30pm but I'd only done one by 6:45, at which point I got a call from the lads to say they were on Westminster bridge about to start the red route! So I hurried on down the Embankment and met them and we took a stroll to Lambeth and back around to Westminster together. Now just the Green walk with Isla tomorrow and I will have snapped all the Wenlocks and Madevilles. Challenge complete! Had a couple of pints in the Westminster Arms and I headed home to cook tea (at 10:15pm!) and needless to say wasn't really hungry but needed to use up what was in the fridge rather than throwing it all out. This shot taken in Trafalgar Square, whilst looking for a Wenlock (which was in fact nowhere near this!) I came across this crowd watching a street performer outside the National Gallery. Loved the glaring sun and the long cast of shadows.
Alternative shot taken near St Martin's Lane near Leicester Square http://365project.org/sparkle/365/2012-08-21
