Walkway x3

photo 332
I think this is the third photo of this walkway near my school. I've tried to take it in different seasons and in different types of weather. I've shot it after a rainstorm, when there were lots of puddles, and after a light dusting of snow, with footprints going down the walkway to the sea. I actually went down today to see if there was any damage done to it after a heavy rain and wind storm the other night that had astronomically high tides. The walkway escaped any damage, but I've posted a photo in my other album that shows how much seaweed and sand was carried up from the beach.

@judithdeacon Thanks, Judith - the walkway takes you right out to a bay that opens up to the ocean - a very pretty view! Thanks for the fav!

@shanne Thanks, Shanne - Sometimes I go there after school just to walk across to get to the beach - it's always very peaceful there - a nice way to decompress at the end of the day!

Another wonderful boardwalk shot. Have you been to Gray's Beach on the Cape? Big walk like this over the marsh and with a great view of Barnstable Light house with (Cape Cod Bay) ocean and dunes etc at the end.

@sailingmusic Myrna - I haven't been to Gray's Beach - I usually go to Dennis to visit my brother or to Falmouth to get the ferry over to the Vineyard. I love lighthouse and dune shots!

@paulaag Thanks, Paula - I don't have my Celtics t-shirt on yet, but will by game time. There's a very "electric" feeling in the city! How did you end up being a Celtics fan, being so far away?

@numinee Thanks, Sally - It really was so good to finally see the sun today - what a week of lousy weather!

@pyrrhula Thanks, Pyrrhula~ We finally got to see the sun - it's been dreary and rainy all week - very cool too. It doesn't even seem like spring. We're supposed to get some warmer weather tomorrow - along with the sun again!

@sparkleplenty1 , well, I am a Pacers fan first and I am also a Purdue fan. Jajuan Johnson and Etwann Moore are both form Boilermakers and they are now Celtics. I know they don't get to play often, but they are both outstanding young men. Plus, Larry Bird was a Celtic you know and all of us here in Indiana love Larry:) So, it is Pacers first, Celtics second.......haha, how is that for an explanation.

@paulaag Ha Ha, Paula - I do like the Pacers, too, and I always loved Larry Bird - the guy from French Lick! I'll have to look for Jajuan and Etwann tonight - I'm not familiar with them, but will check out their bios! Thanks!

@sparkleplenty1 , Oh yes do......they are great guys. I doubt they will get to play, but hey......just to be on the team......how awesome is that?!?!
