The Bisentina Island is the largest island of the lake Bolsena and can be circumnavigated with the tourist boats that depart from the port of Bolsena and from the port of Capodimonte. It retains an almost untouched nature, beautiful landscapes and monuments. One example is the Church of Saints James and Christopher, the Franciscan monastery, the villa and a terrible ancient prison.
