It's not strange to see props of the opera left outside the Arena, in middle of the square.
There are four different opera in the agenda this summer:
Aida
Carmen
Il trovatore
Turandot
And they can't store this material too far from the roman amphitheatre because every day the opera is different.
These props are about "Il trovatore" and they are massive, really, the statues are 5 meters tall. Impressive. There were a lots of tourists taking photos and couldn't help shooting too.
I'd like to watch this opera, but, will I find the tickets? I hope so, we'll see.
