Shout down my rain barrel...

Or up. Or something. Puddle week, and me sick in bed. The only puddle I could find was on top of the rain barrel outside our front door. And as I was thinking about posting this, a recent photo from @northy came to mind... http://365project.org/northy/365/2013-04-08

I'm still so "chuffed" (as other 365ers would say) about my tree photo being on the PP. http://365project.org/squamloon/squam/2013-04-06 . It gives me hope.

And now I'm DOUBLE chuffed... this one made it there too!! How is this POSSIBLE? Life is grand this week.

----------------------------------
Say, say, oh playmate,
Come out and play with me
And bring your dollies three
Climb up my apple tree

Shout down my rain barrel
Slide down my cellar door
And we'll be jolly friends
Forever more more more more more

Say, say, oh playmate
I cannot play with you
My dolly's got the flu
Boo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo

Ain't got no rain barrel
Ain't got no cellar door
But we'll be jolly friends
Forever more more more more more
Okay...when I saw your title, my heart skipped a little beat. My mom, who passed away almost two years ago now, used to sing that song with me. That memory hit me with some force. And then I was not sure it was the same song...but after reading your explanation of the puddle shot, there was the song! I enjoyed reading/singing through it.....it was a nice memory of my mom and me. So thanks for that! And this pic is amazing! You don't even have to walk outside apparently to get a great pic! Fav!

@espyetta MaryBeth, I'm so glad I could bring you a happy memory. :^)

@rvwalker Yes, I did invert it. It was somehow boring rightside up, and when I tried it upside down, it just seemed better, skywise and groundedwise.

Awesome shot! I remember that song, too, as we had a clapping routine we did while singing it.
