Commonly found around our coastal areas the Little egret is a stealthy fisherman favouring the coastal ponds and shallows.Easily identifiable with its characteristic yellow feet and white plumage ,this is a immature bird so it lacks the head plumes
incredible shot! love the focus on the bird and the texture as well as the colours and lighting are stunningly gorgeous. are those clam shells? great shot, howard.
@morrisroos Thanks Don i bought the Tamron 70-3001:4-5.6 Tele Macro on a Christmas special at our camera warehouse for R1399.00 in January and i must say I'm very happy with it and this is handheld no tri-pod or rest.

Gorgeous shot, Howard. Great details. I notice it doesn't have webbed feet and so it's not a swimmer (even I don't have webbed feet but I swim pretty well haha).
Great shot, Howard. We have them here in US as well......also known as the Snowy Egret. I've been seeing loads of them over the last week or so while vacationing in Florida
