AT the turnaround spot it was starting to get a little chilly.I carry a cycling backpack on every ride and in it I have 2x spare tubes,a tool kit some spares(magic link,spare cable)a whistle,first aid kit, little torch amongst other odds and ends most important is my wind breaker and leggings Guess which i forgot to pack back in the backpack and left at home .Yep wind-breaker and leggies so the windchill going down through the clouds had me turning a lighter shade of blue ,back into the sun about halfway down and it was most welcome.
Glad you made it down before you got TOO cold ... I thought that I was the only person who forgot things! I totally love those clouds and the misty look, Howard. You got a great capture.
Great shot. I feel cold just from reading your description. Ah, I'm suddenly glad I have so much sun here. (But I'll complain about it again in a few minutes. 8D )
If I were some (?) years younger I would think seriously to come to South Africa for a holiday perhaps I could take a ride with you but it's too late now. I love this B&W capture.
