These two were having a starring match which ended in some grunting, dancing and the one on the right biting the other in the neck...was it a love bite or horsing around..who knows
OMG! Loving this- have read these can't be broken to saddle, and i so admire them for that! go zebras! do you know if that is true or not? we saw a cross between a zebra and a horse at disneyworld, called a zorse. it obviously had been ridden but it was not in good shape when we saw it, was in its stall.
@catsmeowb As far as i know they are difficult to domesticate let alone attempt to ride,,,that said ...didn't Walt Disney bring out a movie "Racing Stripes"about a young girl that rides a zebra?
Howard, are you having problems with constant dust/oil spots on your sensor? Lots of talk on the net about the D7000 having this issue. Mine is only 2 months old and have had to get it cleaned twice because of the spots.
@karenann I have one spot it apeared early after i got my D7000,I just haven't had time to take it in... they sat it takes 3-4 weeks and yes it seems to be a Nikon problem.....but they won't admit to it .Did they clean your sensor under the warranty which they so generously(tongue in cheek) extended to 3 years.
I had several spots, Howard. Paid the camera shop to clean it the first time. The second time there were three spots ... and they cleaned it for free. Another person in town here is fighting this in court. My camera is only two months old ... that's what is so irritating. I have to say that I love the camera and the photos that I'm getting. And yes, everyone says that Nikon is not taking responsibility at all. I don't want to send it in to them, because you can end up waiting a long time for it to come back. There's a backlog on service. There are hundreds of blogs on the net about this. Since it's not a cheap camera, the owners are angry.
Gonna take a while to give these special memories the attention they deserve - but hey one shot at a time . If you haven't been there you don't know how rivetting a zebra crossing can be !
great shot, they are gorgeous!
