first snow

Winter came to Northumberland. I took this from the window of my mother-in-law's kitchen yesterday when I was across puppy-sitting. A great picture-snapping-snapping-puppy day.
A great feel of snow. Love your text!

Looks cold!
I'm rather envious. We had lots of snow when we were last in Northumberland but we never get any down here on the south coast.

Lovely! I am in the south east and we got a wild flurry that lasted 5 minutes and was gone. I think I'll come and visit you for tea and see the snow!!

@humphreyhippo @casablanca Mr Hippo and Casablanca, don't be too jealous. By the next morning it was slush and by afternoon... gone. :-( I'm originally from the northern states where we had blanketed winters. I miss them.

@steggiesaurus I bet you do! I have to head to the Alps before I see decent snow. Proper Winters are lovely.

A very nice look at textures.
Northumberland - must be a very nice place. Unfortunately, I was never there. I googled a bit - must be very attractive for hikers. A country with culture and nature.
