6 objects flatlay - get pushed challenge

This weeks get pushed challenge was.........."something between what's outside and the human world: a flatlay of 6 objects from garden (or human or nature) that are somehow connected to each other."

First of all I really enjoyed this challenge, it is one of my favourites to date. I enjoyed it because it was challenging in many ways! Firstly my partner tapped into my love of nature and what I enjoy photographing, then I had to employ the old grey matter and think about the challenge, then physically collect the objects and then arrange them and photograph them.

It's a pity the weather has been so awful this week as I would like to have spent more time on this -collecting different objects, etc.

Anyway, the 6 objects are bark, seeds, twig, leaves, fruit and paper. I couldn't find any trees in flower in my area as Autumn is setting in now. If I had, the flower would have replaced the paper.

I feel that the objects are connected with the human world. Trees impact greatly on our world in so many ways - carbon cycle, paper, food, etc..

This is so interesting! I think you took this challenge into a dimension I had not thought of. I really love the bluish shadows that complement the pictures in the book so well.

Hi Stephanie. I'm your Get Pushed partner for this week. I've read your bio but haven't had a chance to look at your album yet. Had a very busy day with lots of people at my house today. I'll get back to you soon with a challenge.

I'm back! For this week, I challenge you to choose a subject in nature and take the same shot three different ways, i.e. different depth of field, different times of day, or using your three cameras. Then combine the shots in a triptych.

@sitiodown thanks Tari!

Hi @francoise thanks for your reply and for setting this challenge. I would be really interested to know in what way you would have done this challenge or what you had in mind when you set it? I quite like the bluish shadows too, they fit in with the whole picture but, they were unintentional and are the result of my poor editing skills. :( In boosting the colours of the objects it seemed to cast this and I couldn't figure out a way of doing it that didn't.

@stephanies I think my reaction came because your thoughts were more organized than mine were when I did a similar challenge. I just grabbed the first six things I saw in the woods, laid them out on the snow and... voila.

Ahh I see @francoise I had the whole week to think about this as the weather was just too wet to collect anything for it any earlier.
