Get pushed - long exposure night shot with star bursts

I drove up to the top of a hill nearby where I live and from this point I had a good view of the lights over Harrow. The solid white light in the middle of the picture is the light trail from a train that was passing through.
Here we go @vera365 my first ever attempt at this :)

Oh how cool! You picked a perfect spot to get the lights of different size and color that light up the entire city. Beautiful!

Heaps of detail and very clear! I can clearly make out a steeple (it is a steeple, isn't it?) in the extreme top right :)

That's an excellent shot.
You'd never ever guess it was a first attempt.
I've done a few long exposure with star burst shots before but they take a bit of planning for me.
I have nowhere ideal within walking distance to me, so tend to head in to Central London when I attempt this.
Great shot - You must be really pleased
