That is fun!

This is really cool Stephaine! It looks like the photo is coming right out of the puzzle. Is this a real puzzle, or something you did in photo editing software?

Lovely shot, was this done in Photoshop or is it a real puzzle.

HI Steph, your get-pushed partner for the coming week here, I see we have a very similar camera, and i would like to challenge you to use a function that you might not have used very much before which is the hdr setting, for which you want to set a low iso and can either use a tripod or set your camera down so the camera can take the three exposures it needs to combine without moving but bear in mind that hdr takes advantage of high contrast situations, eg. interiors with bright window light , or outdoor in bright sunshine where shadows are too dark to see detail with an ordinary exposure. .. and/or you could try moving the camera during the three exposures and you will find an in-camera triple exposure will happen, you need low light conditions to do this, and the faster you move the more different the layers will be.

aw shoot, i just checked your camera manual and you dont have the hdr setting! however there are some other choices in the section on shooting modes you could try such as fish-eye, miniature, or toy camera (which I just discovered on my camera due to looking at your manual!!) check out pg 46 of your manual here http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/1/0300012151/01/pssx510hs-cu-en.pdf

super fun shot - and like everyone else - I am wondering if it is a real puzzle or something you did post-processing.

Very cool. The technique has oodles of potential.

Such a cool shot!

What a very creative capture. This would be a good idea to make some jigsaws from some photos taken during the year.

Hi Debby, Babs and Wendy @debbyglynn @onewing @farmreporter Thanks kindly for your comments on this picture. It looks really effective but it's not a picture of a puzzle, but an edit that I found in Photoshop elements 14 [maybe other versions too]. I thought it was something different anyway and I think it turned out ok.

Wendy - I believe you have PSE14 too? If you go to "guided" then "fun edits" you will find it there on the bottom line.

Thank you kindly @joysabin yes there is lots of scope with this idea.

Thank you! @leggzy

Thanks Jen @365projectorgjenfurj yes, I could make my own puzzle pictures but I doubt I will. I think it would be a nice idea for a gift for someone that likes doing puzzles maybe, the picture could then be quite personal to that person as well.

Thanks Alta @altadc the magic of photoshop!

Thank you kindly Elizma @elizmafourie

Very cool editing! I had to read all the comments, because I was wondering if it was a real picture how you could get it so nice and straight.

HI Kali, just to let you know I haven't forgotten about your push for me but I am off the board now for a few days, going down to the coast and hope to find some interesting to shot there. Will post up next week. @kali66
