Get pushed - take a shot from a low point of view

This is a SOOC image and it was taken hand-held believe it or not! I was looking up at the trees in the woods this morning and thinking how can I make this picture a little different. So, I set for the slowest shutter speed I could get and then twisted the camera round slightly. I couldn't believe my first shot came out like this! I took a load more afterwards but none of them have the circular/vortex look/feel that this one has.

Thanks for the push Jay @jaybutterfield

That is quite a feat. And delightful too. perhaps if you had been aiming for exactly this you wouldn't have achieved it in a month of Sundays.

Thank you Helen, I totally agree with you. I couldn't believe my luck that my first shot actually turned out like this, the subsequent ones were no where near as pleasing. @helenhall

Incredible!! It's not easy to get the motion to look this defined and clean, must less on the first shot!! Kudus to you, Stephanie!

What a great effect. I tried something similar photographing glow sticks ages ago. It looks like great fun. Must give it a go.
