Date number 5...I had the camera set-up (I had pre-warned her don't worry :) trained at the door, framed with flowers in shot, and set up on the tripod with the timer remote, to try and catch a nice little moment on camera. I'm happy with it but need lots more lighting, a longer lens to get what I wanted.
We went out for a lovely evening at the very tasty Electric Diner, followed by a movie at the elegant Electric Cinema in north London - next door to each other. We thought we'd booked a front row sofa, but it turned out to be more like a bed!
I highly recommend an evening there...food first at the diner followed by a movie. Book it first though :)
She doesn't look like she needed much persuading! Nice composition. Must mention the Electric Cinema in Brum to my daughter - she's not really a night club fan and that sounds like a fun night out.
I am slightly worried about what we might be seeing on date 6 or 7!! LOL. Feel like I am spying on your new found relationship. Your girlfriend is obviously very cool. Love the dof and composition. Very romantic.
@streetlyend haha I was just thinking the same thing! I hope he really has told her what is going on and these aren't all taken with hidden cameras!
No but really, I love this the focus on and brilliance of the daffs is beautiful, and if we didn't know the story behind the shot we would be wondering about it - lovely!

@gailmmeek Thank you! Try it. I think better lighting around us both would have helped, and a longer lens. All I was thinking was 'book covers', 'Danielle Steel...???' how would they do it...! Not quite what I wanted but i'm still happy with it!
