I was working in Trafalgar Square yesterday for the Pride London parade, operating a handheld camera on the stage that was set up for live music right underneath Nelson's Column. A great day celebrating equality around the LGBT community.
It was a well packed gig, lots of people in the square, and afterwards central London was buzzing...it really had come alive! Excellent evening...warm weather, chaos everywhere, tourists, locals, people who'd finished work drinking (like me) and it was great - made me really appreciate living in London.
I finally left my colleagues in town and decided to go home after a few fruity beers, and walked through Leicester Square to Piccadilly Circus and tried to capture the buzz before heading home. It was tricky, as my X20 only can do so much without a tripod after a few beers on an empty stomach :)
