This title refers to the man in the photo but also the fact that I had a good walk round the city of Oxford yesterday with my brother, who lives in nearby Didcot. I took my Fuji X100 and it ran out of power after about 10 minutes, so I decided to get a shot on my iPhone 5c.
Would prefer to use a camera but the iPhone nowadays is pretty god so I am glad I could capture something.
@slava Thank you...I am very happy with the images out of the 5c. So much better than the 3G I was using before. Means it is a life-saver if my camera runs out of battery :)
@joemuli Thanks dude...! And yes my iPhone 5c.
The 5c and the 5s models are really quite impressive now for detail, so with a good framing of a nice subject and an app, you can get good results. :)
I love that even with an iPhone you've still managed to capture the motion blur of the gent walking, brilliant! Did you use the standard camera app or a more fancy one? It may come as little surprise that I have a multitude on my iPhone!
@vokesy
I used to have loads but then I went through a phase over the last year where I took hardly any shots on my phone. But since getting the iPhone 5c at the end of Jan, I have started using it again. I shot it with the standard camera as I always do - kind of like shooting RAW on my phone :) - then tweaked a little in Snapseed.
on the new phone I uploaded VSCOcam which is great for film-like edits, and I have previously used BigLens and SlowShutter. I may try and get a few more in over the year...!
