Taken from the window of the airplane back home flying in across the capital. You can see the London Eye, the new 'Walkie Talkie' and 'Cheese Grater' buildings, as well as the Shard.
@ukandie1 Yes you must. I do know what you mean about being hemmed in but you really do miss everything if you're not near the window. It's always fascinating to me that the plane actually gets off the ground, and sitting by the window still captures my imagination. The clouds, the land in miniature, the layout of our 'little' planet and the weather systems viewed from above still get me going. I love it.
