Today was the set-up day for this years Dubai Desert Classic golf event in Dubai, and when I had a spare 10 minutes I went up one of the camera cranes to get this awesome view the final green at the Emirates Course.
It was an awesome sight and this photo doesn't do it justice. I should make more of an effort to go up more cranes this year one some of the other golf events.
3 good things:
1 - Although our TV trucks were delayed coming to Dubai from Qatar my colleagues and I joined forces to get the set-up done this morning in double quick time
2 - Despite a slightly slower technical check in the afternoon, the weather was awesome and driving around the course to check all my camera positions on my buggy was a pleasure
3 - A cheap dinner in the mall next to the hotel with colleagues with all the best banter
