This is Sea Palling on the east coast of England, in my beautiful home county of Norfolk. I was with someone for the day which included a lovely lunch made up of a disposable BBQ, chicken kebab, prawn & veg skewers, marshmallows and strawberries, bulger wheat salad and some hummus & crudites.
We turned up to grey and cold weather but we were determined to have our day as we had been planning for nearly two weeks, and after setting up a windbreak and umbrella to make a little shelter, we had some yummy food, and then a lovely snooze under blankets and coats before eventually, the glorious sun came out and warmed us up.
It was a great day. We payed for 3 hours parking, and ended up staying for 6.
1 - Good to see my folks that morning after not seeing them for 2 weeks
2 - An awesome day at the beach
3 - A nice chilled evening after our day, including getting a night in a London hotel booked
