This is the Crown Hotel in Chertsey, on the edges of west London where I stayed last week while working on the PGA Championship golf event at Wentworth. I needed a shot for the day that wasn't a golf course, especially after not having had any really time to get the camera out so I grabbed my Joby and took a few lights trails. I waited for a bus to get some more dramatic trails but it never appeared and it was late so settled on this.
3 good things:
1 - Good day setting up at Wentworth
2 - Good 5 mile run out of town and back
3 - A nice Pizza Express meal with collegues

My colleagues are there working as part of the BBC coverage and for ESPN in America but I am looking after the first Ashes Test Match cricket in the same week.
Shame as I really want to tick off working on The Open at St Andrews!

Oh well, I'd say the Ashes is a great consolation prize! :) Was asking because a good friend of mine, from Zimbabwe/South Africa, is working there this year ;)
