This is Alexis at my sister's house after spending a few hours over for dinner and hanging out with her cousins. As my young nephew was being put to bed I snapped a few shots of her as she was checking out their tree and the decorations. Christmas tree lights are great for portraits because the light is very soft, can be different colours of course, but if you get a little in the foreground on a wide aperture they can give a nice effect along with the tree itself.
