Ok ..
i took this photo whilst on holiday in Wales, but the reason that i am posting it today is something has started to happened in the past two days with this picture..on flickr
Yesterday the hits on the image started to rise & rise & rise at the moment they have just reached 36,528 . ..wow...
I am amazed i have never had an image reach 20 hits before yesterday, never expected it to be honest. So to remind me of the day one of my photos hit the stars. I am posting it for the 7th May .. Hope this still counts ... & hope it makes you all smile .
It is right out of the camera, just one of those moments in time; Oscar sneezed as I was taking the shot & bingo!.
viewed 43,365 times on flickr before i took it of public view..
Oscar's sneeze and Jodie's cat's Yawn should be made into posters and hung in places where children need a laugh...if you get my drift... This is so wonderful! Congratulations for getting that peak-of-the-moment, out-of-this-world photo!
Wow! This is so amazing. It's hard to think of another word for it. I agree with everyone else that it's understandable why it is getting so much attention. Congratulations on reaching the stars on Flickr!
We all take pictures just hoping to catch that one in a million. You did it!! When I take pictures of our dog I get a shot of the back of her head AND a big blur. Awesome shot!!!
Congratulations Steve H. I have to tell you that after reading all the comments and thinking there will be no room for my comment and nothing new to tell you, I found this slot and wrote first word - and so long since I looked at the name & photo, I had FORGOTTEN YOUR NAME!!!!! This is so delightful in one way in another does it hurt them, and finally someone suggested a Post card with Oscar. Steve it's something to think about if you go broke . But I'd say put a copyright on this may stop people pinching this fab photo. I too am putting it in Favourite for me. Thanks for a great lift in my feelings.
Steve, it doesn't matter that I have looked at this 10 times...my sides hurt from laughing each time like it's the first. I think your (& Oscar's) 15 minutes of fame aren't going away any time soon.
This is the wierdest shot, I had to go back to it today to show my husband. Truly amazing that you caught that millisecond in time. Normally Oscar is a beautiful looking dog, in this shot, he looks like a crazy cartoon character.
Well, what a way to end a really crappy day....I am going to toddle off to bed with a big smile on my face and a chuckle! Thats just bloody priceless! heehee...
Hi Steve - had to say I have a pet called Oscar as well...though mine is a Birman cat - I am sure your Oscar would chase my Oscar! Must say I have never seen my Oscar pull a face like your Oscar in this shot ! hehe
i just saw this again in "browse and pick #20"...i think i will print this one out and hang it in my office...no matter how bad things could possibly get, there is NO WAY i could resist feelings of happiness if i looked at this photo!
wow, a SNEEZE did that?! so crazy. reminds me of the slow-motion Pedigree commercial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUCRZzhbHH0 or the Time Warp shaking on Discovery channel
Just popped back today after being away from 365 for a few weeks & I am pleased to see Oscar is still making people smile around the world ... thank you for all the kind comments (Oscar makes me smile every single day )
Just under 41000 views now - it's doing the rounds on Twitter it seems - google your title and see where it crops up.
