he parent Great Crested Grebe at Priory Park is a wonderful fisherman but sometimes it's eyes are bigger than his chicks bellies. This is quite a sizable Pike and although both the chick and the parent attempted to devour it, neither managed and the Pike lived to swim for another day.
Wow - now I would like to have witnessed something like this. Maybe I will linger even longer next time at Priory Park. Fabulous capture of the struggle.
