Having finished my pear today, I threw the core outside and it was immediately pounced on by the ever hungry Starlings in my garden.
The parent bird was tearing bit off to feed them but this youngster got over exited and tried to swallow mum as well.
What great timing to get this shot! Love the title, and the one in the back does seem to be reacting in shock to the chance of his mother being devoured.
