Lunchtime Walk #5 Bronze Bark

My lunchtime walk took me into Harris Garden, a beautiful secluded garden that is on campus which most students don't know exists. It's full of amazing different varieties of plants and trees and is maintained by volunteers.
Today photo is of a Himalayan Birch (Thanks dad for the identification, as I had no idea!) I loved how the bark looked like bronze when the sun was shining on it today.

We walk past trees, take them for granted, but sometimes we see something so very special...

@jesikajae thank you for the lovely comment, I am very lucky as there are so many beautiful trees on the campus I work on.
