Kimchi is something that i associate with having a terrible smell - I had always been put off my its smell enough to not ever want it to touch my lips. But it was served at dinner at someone's house in Japan during my visit....on a block of tofu, so I ate it......and it was not half-bad really. Will i ever eat it again?....um....a resounding NO......but for the record, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
Recipe - - for home-baked posting:
1 block plain tofu....cut into four sections
kimchi in a jar - poured over the blocks
green onions, chopped - put on top of kimchi
citrus ponzu sauce poured over top of all
