Independent bookstore

holds a special place in my heart, especially during the winter months when it's a good time to just find an author you like and explore their world.
This is one of the few remaining brick n mortar independent bookstores. It has been on the corner of the downtown area for quite a number of years and is a great place to visit. There is a great little coffee house right down the street as well. I love places like this.. familiar old places that add character and charm to any city or small town.

lots and lots book. yes sadly book shops in decline.. i love the feel and the smell of books..i will never use a kindle

you are both correct. I do hope the ol' haunts stay around for a while yet. full disclosure, i have both a kindle and a shelf full of books in a home bookcase. i prefer the bookcase for now. the more things change, the more things will change, and we must learn and adapt.
