living life in the fast lane ?

This is a quick pic while out last weekend.
It's a mural of sorts painted onto the wall of one of our local grocery stores. The supermarket recently introduced a service called "fast lane" and that got me to thinking about our post-modern world. some of us actually live in the fast lane and it has had adverse affects on health. I believe it's important to take a "time out" occasionally from our busy day and lives. Shopping for groceries and our basic staples is changing. They will now deliver right to your door. I often wonder what the future holds for the retail grocery industry ?
The trouble with life in the fast lane is that you find yourself at the end before your time on the meter has expired --. When you should be enjoying the shopping experience, because the parking meter has already been paid for the entire day.
