trip to the Old General store

added these nostalgic glass penny candy jars to my kitchen this past week. to be filled with candies and sweet treats from another era.
do you remember penny candy? The hersheys bars were not penny candy, but it was all i had on hand for now. pixie sticks, bazooka bubble gum, butterscotchies, root beer barrels... etc. that was penny candy...
