A piece of cake for those who know about sailing. For me they are just wire ropes. But they make for a lovely shot.

Great shot! It reminds me of when we were small, there was a game you played with a piece of tied string which you held between your hands and by doing various actions with your fingers, could make various pictures (if you knew how!).
