Is he neglected, this litterbin boy? by stimuloog

Is he neglected, this litterbin boy?

I really would like to dare more with street photography. Today I gave it a shot, so to speak, at the market.
I saw this boy eating some fried fish just next to this big litterbin. His mom (? to his right) and his granny (? to his left) didn't communicate with him at all. I got a little pitty feeling because he seemed neglected to me.
Great street scene

The thing is your shot asks a question, and that is what street photography is about, so keep going:-)

Interesting candid shot, like it :)

Such an unusual photo. You have made it perfect for the six word story though

It's a good observation shot. And "pathetique" in the classical French meaning ((= รฉmouvant, dramatique) moving).

@grammyn I agree! Street photography is best when a narrative unfolds that remains a mystery, and I think you have done a great job here. I know that people could catch me at any moment in time and probably deduce that I was a horrible mother! ha.

@darylo Haha, yeah, what you say about motherhood is recognizable to me ;-)
