Carefully touching in finding its path by stimuloog

Carefully touching in finding its path

It wasn't easy to get a rather clear capture of this little bugger. Instead of feeling disappointed that he (3mm) ran away each time my lens came close, I decided to see this whole 'pic hunt' as a practice in mindfulness :-) And it worked. I've got loads of mostly rather vague captures but they followed every move. He is touching his path ways in such a gentle manner. Wonderful to see. Think it's a louse. What do the experts think?
I'm a bit proud of this pic, considering the fact that I don't use a tripod, drink a lot of coffee and go to bed too late most days. So... ;-)
Great macro!

Very firm hand, despite your vices! Interesting peek into the insect's life. Do you still surround yourself with lice?;-)

@caterina Haha, only outside the house ;-)

Yes, it's pretty crisp, and macros hand-held are a risk! Nice.

Well done - like you I drink too much coffee, go to bed too late and don't use a tripod. We both must spend a lot of time in the undergrowth chasing creatures with a lens and then getting more infatuated with the activity than trying to catch a picture. you did well.
