Do we ever tire of taking pictures of pretty flowers? I guess not because here I go again! I just can't resist! I guess it is because they make us smile!
I love Hydrangeas!! Some of mine were pink and some purple and some blue. I try to put coffee grounds around them so they will turn blue but forgot this year, hence the pink ones. And you are right,, flowers always make me smile!!!
Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers. They're all over Cape Cod, so to me, they're synonymous with summer. I love them so much I even had a few worked into my wedding bouquet.
Beautiful...and anyone who thinks they're tired of beautiful flowers, just wait a few months! I'll be sorry to see them go. We've got both pink and blue in front of our house here, and while in California. Every year I plan to dry some and keep them over the winter, but I always forget...
I have never enjoyed flowers or a lot of other items to photograph as much as I do now on 365. and as Louise said... in a few month....well i'll be photographing snow covered trees. please let's not think about it yet.
these are beautiful hydrageas. Soil that produces blue blooms is basic in PH, if you want blue add some lime to the soil. Soil that is acidic produces pink blooms, fi you want pink you can add magnesium sulfate to the soil.
