Flags

We spent yesterday sitting at the water's edge and enjoying the tranquility and the soft warm breeze. Working indoors all week makes the outdoors that much more special on weekends when we can get out. And the weather is cooling just a bit with a hint of fall in the air.

I loved all the flags in this view. These are all private homes and docks and they all do seem to be enjoying them.

Can you see how far the tide is out? Just look at the pilings and the water mark. I wish it had been in because my pictures would have been much nicer!

I like all the line detail the low tide gives to this pic...you wouldnt have seen nearly as much criss crossing with a higher tide.

I'm with you, Suzie. When I'm working during the week, I love to be able to get some fresh air on the weekends. There's something about sitting outside and watching the world go by... I love this shot - I really like the details with the flags, etc.
